e only chatted through e-mail and once through facetime on our computer, but I knew Nam and Ngan were one of a kind. After a long plane flight to Sydney Australia, we finally were able to meet face to face and I cannot say enough good things about these two. They are incredibly beautiful on the inside and out. We feel so honored to have been a part of this wedding.

Nam was SO nice to drive Stephen and I around a few days before the wedding to show us some possible engagement photo locations. Nam is also a photographer. We loved ALL of them and the engagement session was amazing. I LOVE photographing photographers. Not only do they think in detail about locations but they are so comfortable in front of the camera and these two were the PERFECT models. Wow. We felt lucky to have been able to photograph them before the wedding.

The morning of the wedding started early as we were to document two chinese tea ceremonies as well as a church ceremony at a different location. We were prepared and so excited to be a part of this day. The one thing that stood out to us the most at this wedding was just how incredibly generous everyone was. We have never felt so welcomed at a wedding more than this one. We were greeted numerous times by different family members and friends and they were just so helpful and accommodating. They helped us understand the culture and what was happening. We felt so blessed to have people around us that cared for us and our job. We cannot say enough good things about Nam and Ngan and their family and friends. We left the wedding feeling completely blessed to have had this amazing opportunity to document these two and their commitment to each other. Nam and Ngan dated 13 years before tying the knot and it's obvious these two are the best of friends. I hope someday we are able to meet again even though we live on opposite sides of the world. Nam and Ngan, thank you for choosing us as your photographers. You both some of the nicest people we have ever met and I wish you the absolute best! Hope your honeymoon in New Zealand is fantastic! The groom's family and groomsmen gathered together before heading over to greet the bride at her house. This is where the first tea ceremony will take place. The right picture shows the gifts for the bride and groom being carried to the bride's home.
This is one of my favorite photos of the day. Stephen caught this adorable photo of Nam and Ngan as they see each other for the first time. Ngan started to cry here.
Here is the second tea ceremony at Nam's parents home. Nam's mother on the left is placing a special bracelet on Ngan's wrist and on the right, they are drinking tea.
After the tea ceremonies were over, we headed back and Ngan changed into her bridal gown for the first look and church ceremony.
I am in LOVE with Ngan's Jimmy Choo shoes.
Nam and Ngan found an amazing park nearby where they had their first look. They even rented furniture!! I.AM.IN.LOVE.
Ngan, you are beautiful.
After the church ceremony, we headed to the Rocks by the Sydney Harbor to finish off some bridal portraits.
I love this photo Stephen took!
The sun peeked through for a bit just in time for some amazing rim light!
I am in LOVE with the bridesmaids outfits and colors. On the left is what the girls wore for the tea ceremony and on the right is the church ceremony dress. The flowers here are gorgeous. The white flowers are actually wooden flowers with some greenery around them. Such a great idea!
Everyone in this shot is seriously BEAUTIFUL.
The Doltone House was a dream to photograph. The venue is gorgeous and I was SWOONING over the pink uplighting!
I LOVED the cake with the wooden white flowers.
The rest of the night was a blast to photograph!
