San Diego Wedding : Kyra + Johnny

This past week, Stephen and I had the HONOR of documenting two of our very good friends from college as they committed their lives together next to the gorgeous Pacific ocean. Johnny, the groom, was a groomsmen in our wedding. Having Johnny stand by our side at OUR wedding meant so much to the both of us. Now, it means SO much to have been able to document Johnny marrying his best friend. Johnny and Kyra are two of the nicest people we know. Their hearts are genuine and I could not hand pick two better people to be married to each other. They are beautiful deeply from the inside out and I am so excited to watch what God has in store for these in the future.
Last fall, we were able to photograph their engagement session in beautiful Temecula. They wanted a vintage feel for their photos so that it could trickle into their wedding theme which was also vintage! I LOVE vintage themed weddings so I couldn't wait to see all the little details they had been working so hard on. The ceremony and reception was held in the morning at the Admiral Kidd Club. It was a crystal clear morning to have a beautiful wedding on the ocean. After the wedding and reception, we headed to the Hotel Del Coronado for some private beach photos. It was a perfect end to a great day.
Johnny and Kyra, thank you for choosing US as your wedding photographers. I am so happy for the both of you and cannot wait to watch your marriage grow! Love you both!!! A special thanks to Couture Events for doing such an AWESOME job at this wedding. These girls even drove to Coronado to bring Kyra her bouquet that had been forgotten for photos. A SPECIAL thanks to you girls for being so great.

Johnny and Kyra are good friends of ours and it means SO much to be able to document moments like these.
The ceremony site was definitely one of the most beautiful we have seen in San Diego. It was a crystal clear day for a beautiful wedding.

The centerpieces at the wedding were stunning! Thanks to Leigh Fischer with Posies Flowers. At each table, Johnny and Kyra had a spot that was special to them as the table names. Pebble Beach was where Johnny proposed to Kyra.
We decided to save all portraits for last. After the ceremony and afternoon reception, we headed over to the Hotel Del Coronado for some beautiful beach shots.
Kyra's bouquet was just perfect!
