Kristin and Matt

They met in second grade. They probably flirted at recess or intentionally teased each other with mischievous smiles under the monkey bars. They were classmates, destined to fall in love. After the second grade, Kristin and her family moved to Colorado and both Matt and Kristin, carried on happily through school living their separate lives.
All grown up, they carried on to college not knowing they would meet again through mutual friends. "I didn't really remember him" Kristin said. "I didn't remember a lot of the kids from elementary school, but he remembered me! We are actually standing behind each other in our second grade class photo." They began dating and have been together ever since.
Last weekend, Kristin and Matt were married at the Tubac Golf Resort in Tubac, Arizona. One interesting fact about Tubac is the history of the location. Tubac is the oldest European settlement in Arizona. It was so beautiful to see the old mission down the road from the resort.
I first met Kristin and Matt last year to discuss the upcoming wedding and I absolutely LOVED their personalities together. I couldn't ask for more of a laid back, enjoyable, and not to mention GORGEOUS couple to photograph.
The details, the guests, and the location made this wedding a blast to be a part of. One special detail about this wedding is the wedding dress Kristin chose to wear. The dress was originally designed in Paris, specifically for Kristin's Grandma by mr. Bergdorf himself. Kristin's Grandma so graciously wore this dress and passed the cherished keepsake to Kristin's mom. As it was time for the third generation to carry the tradition, Kristin proudly wore the perfectly woven dress to marry the man of her dreams in. it was perfect.
I just want to thank both Matt and Kristin for giving me the honor to document your wedding day. You two have been wonderful and I have loved getting to know the both of you. Click HERE to see a slideshow of the rest of the day.
The beautiful antique store Panchos, located inside the resort, was gracious enough to allow Kristin and Matt to use a few of the items for the ceremony. The details were gorgeous.
