Yeni - Thank you very much, Falcon! Yo are verry kind! :)  Sep 7, 2011, 1:29PM
Jackie - I'm reading your posts in reverse today but I had to comment that we're apparently traveling the same path! I went to ND and was just in South Bend this past weekend. Too funny. I'd love to schedule a just-for-fun session if you're ever in our neck of the woods again! And, if you're up for more photography advice posts, I'd love to hear how you get proper focus. It's one of the things I'm struggling with most in my own photography!  Sep 6, 2011, 8:42PM
Falcon - You are such an inspiration, Stephanie! Thank you for writing such thought-provoking posts, and for being willing to share unedited photos (which are stunning by the way)! Yeni, just a guess but I believe Stephanie might use Kubota's Magic Sharp action. I've used it before and it tends to give that look that you see in lots of photos nowadays, but as Stephanie just wrote it's way more important to get the image sharp straight out of the camera before editing!  Sep 5, 2011, 7:43AM
Linnea - That first image - holy cow. So gorgeous. Your composition is always so beautiful.  Sep 4, 2011, 8:17PM
Yeni - By the way, I would like to know what`s the tool or program you use to sharpen your images? ThankĀ“s in advance, oh and also thank you for the encouragement to shoot manually! ;)  Sep 4, 2011, 1:34AM
Yeni - Thaaank you so much, Stephanie, for it! You made me smile and be happy for the opportunity God give us everyone to change our lives and do what we really love to do!  Sep 4, 2011, 1:32AM
Carissa - Wow. I needed this post. I needed it to remind myself that even when things aren't going as well with my business as I hope, I am still so blessed to be able to do what I love. And smiling is the best : ) Thanks Stephanie!!  Sep 3, 2011, 10:12AM
Stephanie fay - Elizabeth, that's awesome you're working another job so you can shoot weddings and reach your goal. Think of it as a future investment! That's great that you're looking for the positive in the end result. :)  Sep 3, 2011, 9:48AM
Elizabeth - Love this post Stephanie...I am very grateful for the job I have because it allows me to get my dream job shooting weddings. But it is at times so hard to go to a job that really brings me no pleasure this is just a paycheck to me and I need to stop feeling that way. Monday - Friday are horrible for me. But I have to hang in there!  Sep 3, 2011, 4:57AM
