I
absolutely love Arizona in the spring time. There is nothing like the desert when it is in full bloom! Laura and Jake chose the Botanical Gardens for their engagement session and it couldn't have been a more stunning background. Before heading into the gardens, we took full advantage of the gorgeous blooming trees around the property. It was a perfect setting to start the session with puppies Mauer and Penny.

I LOVED watching these two in front of the camera... They seemed so comfortable and natural and so were their adorable children (I mean puppies :) Aren't they a sweet family?!!

Laura and Jake's story is honestly one of the cutest stories I've heard. They first met in nursery school in 1983 but love wasn't on their minds then. Mostly crayons, snacks and coloring. They met again ten years later in the fall of 1993 but... no sparks flew then either. Four years later on spring break, they bonded as friends and finally their senior year of high school, these two old time friends decided it was time to take their relationship to a brand new level. Well, it's a good thing they tried because these two are two make such a great couple. Finally in 2012, Jake asked Laura to marry him. After 29 years of knowing each other, these two will be tying the knot this October. I LOVE IT! how sweet is that?!

Laura and Jake, you two are so beautiful inside and out and we adore the both of you. We can't wait to be apart of your wedding this fall!! To see a slideshow, click here
I love the bright colors in this shoot! Laura's beautiful pink sweater and the yellow tree just makes me smile knowing it's spring time!
SO squeezable :)
One of my favorites...
The sky was so soft and just made all the colors really pop.
Laura, you are beautiful.
I loved this little romantic nook.
Laura and Jake, we feel so grateful to have met you!
